Listen! Braids – Fruend

If the goal of Braids is to release every new track slowly before their album release date, then they are succeeding. We’ve already heard In Kind, Amends, and Hossak from upcoming album, Flourish // Perish. We now get a taste of Fruend, which is not a typo (at least not on my end).

The track begins with a cascade of sounds before Raphaelle Standell-Preston begins singing, which transforms into ethereal sounds as the song progresses. Check out the latest sonic experiment from Braids. Their album is out August 20.
