Listen! Braids – Amends

We have something new out of Montreal via Calgary for you today. The band are Braids, which I’ve learned do not look good in my hair. The band’s debut album was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize in 2011.

The new track is called Amends, which is what I had to make with my girlfriend after braiding my hair for her work gala. In Amends, we have a 6 minute track full of vocal manipulation, with both subtle and commanding electronic sounds. Give it a listen below.
