Listen! Eminem – Rap God

Kanye West is a God. Eminem doesn’t boast quite to those heights, only settling on Rap God. Eminem released a new track to iTunes ahead of his highly anticipated album, Marshall Mathers LP 2 (MMLP2) on November 5.

The track Rap God sees Eminem spitting out rapid fire lyrics, with an evolving (so-so) beat as the song shifts from several flows and tempos. “Raps coming at you at a supersonic speed” is a very accurate line, especially about four and a half minutes through – wowzers. Vintage Eminem lyrics are found throughout (“If I can’t batter a woman, how the fuck am I supposed to bake them a cake then?”), especially after the turbo tongued part near the end.
