PeteHatesMusic’s Songs of 2011

As 2011 draws to a close, it’s time to join the other media outlets and make some lists, so that readers can a) validate their opinion on songs or b) criticize those who do not share the same opinion as them. “How dare you put Lady Gaga at #4? Clearly she had the SECOND best song this year!”

2 of the PeteHatesMusic contributors, Rich and Pete, have compiled their top 10 songs from 2011, as well as 10 others that just missed the top 10 and get a participation ribbon. Everyone wins! (except those not listed). The individual lists come first, and then you can click the link to get YouTube links to all of the songs. Everyone wins! (except those not listed…or those with YouTube blocked at work).

TOMORROW – The top albums of the year, as judged by PeteHatesMusic. And then – turkey overdosing, and no more posts until 2012.

Let us know your thoughts in the comments (so that we can ignore them or laugh at you).

    Hey Pal,
Decent lists. Suggestion; you should make a petehatesmusic grooveshark account and than you can build playlists under your user and people can just search for you handle and listen to your lists. Not only would it be great for posts like this, but you can also build playlists of what your currently listening to so people can follow along and share. Grooveshark has now made sharing via social media and linking super easy. Hope all is well over there, Happy Holiday.

Yea I have been keeping up to date on that law suit. I don’t think anything is really going to come from it. They may have to remove some content but I don’t think it will kill the site. Knock one down and another form in its place.
