Morning Music Notes – Solutions To Enable Us to Keep Being Dangerous

A Fleet Fox No More – Drummer J. Tillman Quits

Fleet Foxes drummer J. Tillman has decided to leave indie folk rock fame and go it on his own, and has left Fleet Foxes (via Spinner). He made the announcement on his Tumblr account, and said “Farewell Fleet Fans and Friends. Back into the gaping maw of obscurity I go. Tokyo is my last show with the Foxes.” That show he refers to is today, Jan. 20, and with time zone differences that I still don’t grasp, he might already be playing that last show as I type this.

Apple to Open Another Landmark London Store?

Apple currently has a breathtaking store in Covent Garden in London, with exposed brick pillars and walls, and elegant looking glass ceilings and windows at parts. Now, it seems like Apple wants to open another store, this time in world-famous London department store, Harrods (via Digital Trends). We’re perhaps even more dumb for walking around with our headphones on and texting while we walk, not looking at all where we are going. Bryan Brunsell has come up with up with a conceptual solution – moving the iPhone to the top of the phone, and placing a mini screen of what you’re about to walk into (via Geekologie). Also great for stalking and adding pictures to your creepy collection. Check out a few pictures from Buzzfeed on how it might work.
