Morning Music Notes – Time to Feel Old, Nirvana Fans
While we’ve already streamed the entire Glass Gang singles collection, we thought we could suck in those who missed it by featuring their new video for Time.
The track is a slow burning, dark track, with a backing synth beat that plays as a glass is filled as the video unfolds. Check it out below.

Your 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees are Nirvana (pretty sure they’ll get in), Kiss, The Replacements, Hall and Oates, Peter Gabriel, LL Cool J, Chic, Cat Stevens, and more. Fans can vote, too, which will count towards one of the 600+ ballots. Can we promise that Courtney Love won’t get to show up if Nirvana is inducted? (via Rolling Stone)
Who is the best dressed Briton on all-time? If you said King George III, you’d be wrong. A poll for BBC History Magazine shows the public voted for Davie Bowie (via Gigwise)
Drake in the gossip columns again. Apparently Future has been kicked off of Drake’s tour. Apparently it’s over some comments Future made to Billboard magazine. Future thought they were off the record, but come on, not in this industry. Now Future is suing Drake for $1.5 million in lost wages. (via Pitchfork)
Snoop Dogg is the new Puff Daddy, in that he can’t keep a bloody name for more than a few months. Snoop Dogg is now Snoop Lion, and Snoop Lion will now be Snoopzilla, at least while he records with Dâm-Funk. The pair will record a funk record under the name 7 Days of Funk. I’m surprised he didn’t work Hot Pockets into the name somehow. (via Gigwise)
Check out another teaser trailer by Arcade Fire, featuring music from their track Afterlife. Just under two weeks until you can hear the entire album.
