Joseph Gordon-Levitt Covers Nirvana’s Lithium

I finally saw (500) Days of Summer this past weekend. Upon finishing the movie and managing to survive the urge to kick in the teeth for every past girlfriend who screwed me over, I realized that actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt continues to impress me. Having starred in the excellent Inception and about to star in the new Batman movie, the former 3rd Rock from the Sun actor has carved out a nice acting career. (500) Days of Summer did have a lot of musical discussions and reminded me a bit of High Fidelity. After all, the movie did star She & Him lead singer, Zooey Deschanel. It turns out that the karaoke scenes in the film with JGL were not a fluke – the man can sing. This is evidenced by his cover of Nirvana’s Lithium, while he was in Seattle, as part of his hitRECord project.
