Listen! Stars – No One is Lost
Here’s a dancey, club banger from…Canadian bedroom pop band Stars?! Yes, that’s right – Stars have followed up the disco-tinged first single (From The Night), and their slow second single (Turn It Up) with a change of direction that has produced arguably the most unique sound yet from Stars. And the most interesting thing? They pull it off well and without coming across gimmicky.
The song is title track No One is Lost. The song is led by singer Torquil Campbell, with co-lead singer Amy Millan chiming in during the chorus. I might feel weird busting a move in the club when Torq sings “Put your hands up ’cause everybody dies”, but then again, I’ll do pretty much anything when I’m drunk (just ask my parole officer). Make your ears happy with the latest offering from Stars, and grab their eclectic album No One is Lost on October 14.
