Morning Music Notes – Dear David Bowie, You’re Awesome. Love, Trent
Spoiler alert: As you’ll see later today, Metronomy did not make our Top Songs of 2013. However, they came pretty damn close with their catchy number, I’m Aquarius. They now have a video for the excellent track, which you can hear below.
The space themed video is off of Love Letters, out March 10 (which would make you a Pisces, since we’re singing about signs). Get your groove on below.

Trent Reznor has a man-crush on David Bowie, and writes about it for Hollywood Reporter. Apparently time travel may be involved, because “A version of this story first appeared in the Jan. 3, 2014, issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine.” How’s the future look, Trent? (via Hollywood Reporter)
Angel Haze has leaked her album Dirty Gold. By the way, if you want to know a thing or two about album leaks, you should read our Anatomy of an Album Leak article. Her label will now release the album on December 30 to combat the leak. Way to fight the man, Angel – screw being patient! (via NME)
Weird Al Yankovic – whatever happened to him? Well, he’s been fighting to get money from Sony, who reportedly were holding back royalties and miscalculating digital revenues. He sued for $5 million, and it was just settled, for an undisclosed amount, of course. (via Billboard)
Pussy Riot could be released as early as today, after an amnesty bill was passed by Vladimir Putin. They would be released in four months anyway, but still, four months in jail is beyond terrifying for a softie like me. (via Hollywood Reporter)
