Pizza Place Takes Following Someone On Twitter to a Scary Level

For those of you not familiar with Twitter, you’re missing all of my witty remarks you are a better man than I. Basically, you follow the accounts of people you like and see quirky 140 character updates by them. Wait, why am I explaining this? Oh yeah, because my Dad is this site’s number 1 fan.

The awesomely named Mellow Mushroom pizza place started following some of its Twitter friends. No, they didn’t follow them on Twitter – they followed them in real life. And it wasn’t the CEO or anyone like that, it was weird looking giant mushroom mascots. Nothing like ruining a first date by having a giant mushroom following you. The families of the Twitter followers helped locate the followers of Mellow Mushroom so that they could be followed in return.
