Stream! Icona Pop – Iconic EP (entire EP)

Based on the strength of a few songs from their first EP, PeteHatesMusic made sure we saw Swedish electro-pop band, Icona Pop, at the Camden Crawl this year. The band have redone a couple of these stand out tracks – Manners and Sun Goes Down, and added four more tracks to round out the six song set on their new Iconic EP.

The EP opens with a song that sounds quite ordinary to me – I Love It – and also screams of trying too hard to write a catchy, made-for-commercials chorus. The song was featured on most music websites, but we passed on it (see, we don’t post everything!). However, the rest of the EP is pretty good, with a stronger second half. Sun Goes Down is remade and features St. Lucia, who we sort of dig, and Manners is just an all-around awesome song. Check out the EP below, and grab it from iTunes right now.
