File This Under “Extreme”: iPhone Case That is a Battery and a STUN GUN!

Is this even legal? For those of you afraid to walk alone at night, or if you get annoyed by being hit on by a creepy guy (note: I AM that creepy guy), then this product might be for you. The Yellow Jacket iPhone stun case will shock the hell out of you (literally), as well as act as a battery back up for your smartphone (via Dvice). Where do you get one of these puppies? Seth Froom’s case is currently trying to raise money on Indiegogo, and has about $28,000 of the $100,000 needed. And if my description hasn’t sold you on this product, watch a bizarre assault re-enactment that is supposed to convince you of the Yellow Jacket’s necessity on your iPhone. If a guy breaks into your home with a gun and shoves you to the ground, I’m pretty sure your iPhone case will not help you. Anyway, cool idea, right?
