Watch! Regina Spektor – Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas)
The 6th album from Regina Spektor, entitled What We Saw from the Cheap Seats, recently was released. Here at PeteHatesMusic you have heard/seen songs like All the Rowboats, Small Town Moon, and Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas) off the new album, plus the non-album track Call Them Brothers.
Spektor has just released a new video for the previously mentioned Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas). First off, that is one long song title to have to type out. Second, where is Rosetta Stone when you need it? Third, PHM seems to like Regina Spektor…a lot. This video has Regina prancing around a posh loft apartment/hotel suite. There are artsy images of her planking, playing Jenga (remember Jenga?), fencing, floating around weightless, you know, all the things most people would do if let loose in a million dollar piece of realty. Also, keep an eye out for the horn solo by Mr. Clean.
The song has kind of a cool Caribbean vibe to it and you can watch the video here:
