Don’t Like the Native Reminders App on iPhone? The new Clear app is probably for you
I am a “list” man. I take great pride in writing down things to do, and get even more satisfaction when I can cross that item off the list. Terrible intro to a blog post – check! Things like that are more fun when written down. Because I like lists, I like that iOS 5 had a built in Reminders app. What I don’t like about the app is how little control you have over items once they are in the list – you can’t re-organize them, prioritize them, etc. This is why a new app, Clear, is getting a lot of buzz (via Tech Crunch).
The app utilizes the iPhone’s biggest strength – the touch and swipe components of it. There are no buttons for the app – it’s all pinching, dragging, swiping. This might sound complicated at first if you’re an idiot but the demo video below shows you the power of app.
If you’re simple minded with simple tasks, then this app is probably right up your alley. Clear is available for $0.99 / £0.69 / €0,79 from the App Store on iPhone and iPod Touch. You can grab it right here (perhaps add it to your Reminders list before you stop using Reminders).
