Watch: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel Ukelele and Guitar Duet

Okay, so this is a few days old, which is YEARS in online terms, but you might have missed it while stuffing your face with turkey and booze. The recently single Zooey Deschanel (who is the star of Fox’s New Girl – the ads are plastered all over buses and the Tube in London) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt recorded a video of them playing ukelele and guitar together. But wait – what were THEY doing together over the holidays?! Friends can’t hang out together over Christmas!

The 500 Days of Summer co-stars are longtime friends (sure, sure) and decided to give us a taste of their musical skills, since doing karaoke in the movie wasn’t enough. Check out the video below and pray for them to hook up (unless you’re stalking Zooey, in which case pray for the opposite).
