Primavera Sound 2012 Lineup:
Because music festivals in far-away places are amazing, you should consider this one in Barcelona – Primavera Sound Festival. This year’s lineup was announced today, and it includes Wilco, Mudhoney, and SBTRKT. Looks like a pretty eclectic lineup in a stunning location:

Jimmy Cliff to cover Rancid:
First, Little Roy released the a surprisingly awesome album of Nirvana covers. Now, Jimmy Cliff is recording an album produced by Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, that will include at least one Rancid cover – Ruby Soho. Punk and Reggae continue to converge. Some are saying Runk, but I will stick with Peggae.
New Black Star:
Mos Def and Talib Kweli have re-united as Black Star, for the first time (I think) since their SPECTACULAR eponymous 1998 release. Check it out.
