Morning Music Notes – A Ruff Week for a Forgotten Rapper

The Weeknd is slowly releasing some tracks from his upcoming album, Kiss Land. He also had time to partake in an excellent remix with Kavinsky.

The Weeknd - Kiss Land
The latest track is called Love in the Sky, which I’m assuming is about astronauts or flight stewardesses or maybe even Superman. The track has a bit of a rock feel to it, with strings punctuating parts of it, with Abel Tesfaye laying his silky smooth vocals on top of it all. Kiss Land is out at the end of August.
