Weekend Music – Drop the Lime strikes again.

Drop the Lime is New York City’s Luka Venezia. We first met him at Ottawa Bluesfest 2012 – and he made our jaws drop, as the first DJ we’ve seen pic up the mic and SING; looping his voice into the mix.

Here, he has torn Benga‘s dubstep hit Pour Your Love apart – giving it a truly unique dancehall-meets-smoky-lounge-music-meets-moombahton-at-130-bpm feel (I think that’s a genre now…)

But who cares what WE think it sounds like, you should turn this one up as loud as possible and get your weekend started. Cheers!
