Great stuff here from Los Angeles’ Family of the Year. No, this isn’t a new award, but a band that you should know about. They just released Loma Vista last week, and it’s a pretty good listen. Full of catchy hooks, upbeat harmonies, and plenty of spots to clap along if you want to, you should spend your day acquainting yourself with Family of the Year. Stand out tracks include opener The Stairs, as well as Diversity and St. Croix (coincidentally the first 3 tracks on the album). Even the slower tracks like Hero and Everytime feature excellent vocals and will not leave you disappointed (like my cooking).
