Sunday Morning Coming Down with Youth Lagoon

Another great find from Bluesfest!

Although everyone else watching them was pretty amazed that I had never heard of this band (sorry!), Youth Lagoon blew me away. I’d also suggest that they – well, he – it was Youth Lagoon brains Trevor Powers and an unknown guitarist – sounded WAY better in person than on the Youth Lagoon debut album The Year of Hibernation. And that is saying something, because this is a very good album.
