Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto to Feature The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz

Drake has announced the acts for his third annual OVO Fest. Rapping at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre on August 5 will be another Toronto artist, The Weeknd, as well as A$AP Rocky, and 2 Chainz (via Pitchfork). How’s that for a succinct news story – 2 lines – that’s all I need. I could’ve written that whole story on Twitter. How about some other Drake news?

When sifting through all the MTV Movie Awards crap this morning, I noticed that Ashton Kutcher did a revived role as host of Punk’d, and it was pretty awesome. I’ve always thought the show’s premise is brilliant – pranking celebrities and seeing them at their most raw and vulnerable. The pranks are so over the top, the celebrities can’t NOT fall for them. The latest victim was Drake, who thought he was meeting US Vice President Joe Biden, but instead got trapped in a parking garage during an “earthquake”. Pretty awesome stuff.
