Today in the UK, producer Gold Panda released digital versions of his upcoming 7″ vinyl, Mountain / Financial District. You can listen to the A-side, Mountain, down below. And while I’m (well, Gold Panda) is in a giving mood, you can watch the video for Financial District below. Mountain has a cool, looping intro, and the track was inspired by Mt. Fuji in Japan, which also has a cool, looping intro (whatever that means).

Speaking about Financial District, Gold Panda says “‘Financial District’ was just the opposite of the vast expanse of the mountain I guess. Crowded, synthetic and shiny… repetitive – and of course both can erupt at anytime.” There you have it – financial districts and mountains are in fact opposites.
