Watch! K’naan featuring Nas – Nothing to Lose
When I think back to the 2010 World Cup, I think of a) vuvuzelas making me deaf b) that effing annoying Shakira song and c) that K’naan Coke song (not drug-related…or is it?). K’naan has been quiet since then – can’t necessarily say the same for vuvuzelas and Shakira – but now has a new EP about to come out. You can listen to (and sort of watch) the song Nothing to Lose, which features Nas. The EP is out tomorrow (Jan 24 in case you haven’t looked at a calendar recently) and is called More Beautiful Than Silence (which would definitely not be the name of an EP by a vuvuzela band). The EP also features Nelly Furtado, who also had a song used for a major soccer tournament. The EP is a nice preview for fans, as K’naan has an album planned for this upcoming spring.
