Watch! Portugal. The Man – Purple Yellow Red and Blue

More good stuff from the outfit known as Portugal. The Man. They wisely roped in super producer, Danger Mouse, realizing that 90% of what he touches turns to gold (see: Gorillaz, The Black Keys, Gnarls Barkley). Danger Mouse produces new album, Evil Friends, for which we’ve already heard the title track.

Now we have a colourful song, which unfortunately doesn’t mean it’s full of swear words. We have Purple Yellow Red and Blue, and perhaps this song should be played in pre-schools everywhere. The pop song is filled with great harmonies and a groove that makes you want to hug a cat (note: this assumes everyone loves cats as much as I do).
