Adele to Write Another Bond Song?
The success of Skyfall ensured that they would inevitably be another movie in the James Bond franchise. The movie even won the series its first ever Oscar, as Adele scooped up Best Original Sound. Sort of sad that the action-packed series had to win a musical Oscar. The singer who achieved this was of course Adele, and rumour has it (pun intended) that Bond bosses want her to sing the next Bond tune (via Gigwise).
Perhaps don’t read into this TOO much, but “a source” told the Sun, “Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success. They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley.”
Daft Punk Reveals 15 Seconds of New Music, World Explodes
People seem pretty desperate for some new Daft Punk music. During the weekend – Saturday night, to be specific – a 15 second ad of seemingly new music from the French duo aired during Saturday Night Live. We get some disco grooves, and the words Daft Punk and the dual half helmet logo that the band has recently put on their website. It’s not much, but it’s enough to get people excited. Give it a listen below, and realize it is better than anything you or I could ever make.

M.I.A. Drops Mixtape
M.I.A. has a new album out in April called Matangi. She just posted a mixtape called Matangi Mixtape which could be indicative of what we’ll hear in April. The beats are pretty slick. Pop over to http://www.matangimixtape.com/ to give it a listen.
The Harlem Shake Isn’t Dead Until the Simpsons Parody It
It’s now at the point where you can name more people who have done the Harlem Shake than who haven’t done it. The latest people to do it aren’t even people at all – sorry, cartoon treatment agencies. The Simpsons thought they should hop on the bandwagon, and have done so with their latest promo video, featuring original Homer Simpson lyrically blunders and edits, too. Yup, it’s the “Homer Shake”. Groan. Check it out below.
Watch! Big Boi – Apple of My Eye
Big Boi from Outkast has another video from his album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Runners. The third single is for the track Apple of My Eye, and the video features Jake Troth and Epic Meal Time. The intro of the video is pretty funny, as Big Boi does his best to try not to crack up. Big Boi just wants an apple – not sure why he went to a food truck, and especially a food truck run by Epic Meal Time. Check out the slick track below.
