Watch! Sigur Rós – Fjögur píanó (2nd video)
The first version of Sigur Rós’ Fjögur píanó brought us full frontal nudity, courtesy of Shia LaBeouf. I’ve never been the same ever since watching it. The second video brings you the overall winner (as selected by the band) of the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment that the Icelandic folks have been running with the release of their album, Valtari.
The directors, Anafelle Liu, Dio Lau, and Ken Ngan, note “skinned is a restless self sculpturing of one’s body. it is a glimpse of the corporeal unconscious, forever trapped in lacan’s double sided mirror.” If your body was made of mud or loose skin, you would’ve been a star in this video. The video is a touch creepy, yet mesmerizing, especially with the gentle track by Sigur Rós playing in the background. Check it out below.
