Contest! Win Tickets to see The Drums in Toronto
The Drums are coming back to Toronto, which is music to the ears of fans of the indie act. They even have a new song, which you can hear below. PeteHatesMusic wants to merge the ideas in those 2 sentences and send you to see the show for free! We have one pair of tickets to give away to see The Drums play Danforth Music Hall on Thursday, September 25 (UPDATE: The show is now at the ADELAIDE HALL). Tickets go on sale today (Friday, July 18) at 10:00am, but if you’re unsuccessful, you can grab tickets from us.
No one likes rules (except for those lawyer-type people), but there are a few for this contest. There’s no purchase necessary and we won’t share your information with anyone. You must enter via Twitter (explained below), and there’s only one entry per person – anyone found with multiple Twitter entries is a loser (in both life and the contest). Please – do not retweet the heck out of this thing, either – like beers before 8am, one is enough. Just follow us on Twitter, do the tweet we ask you to do, and one pair of tickets could be yours.
Step 1 – Follow @PeteHatesMusic on Twitter. If you already follow us, you’re awesome.
Step 2 – Tweet the phrase below.
I want to win tickets to see The Drums in Toronto. Follow @PeteHatesMusic and tweet to enter http://bit.ly/1nSAzgx
The contest ends on Tuesday, July 22 at 4:30pm EST / 1:30pm PST (although I don’t expect any Pacific coast entries).
We are giving away one pair of tickets to the show to one lucky person. Following us on Twitter does not enter you into the contest – you must tweet the above phrase in addition to following us. You must also not have a locked/private Twitter account because then we can’t see you retweet us!
Simple, right? Okay, not really. Anyway, if you win, @PeteHatesMusic will send you a direct message on Twitter to gather your address information, and we’ll ship you one pair of tickets for The Drums their September 25 show at the Danforth Music Adelaide Hall in Toronto. It’s up to you to figure out how to get there, as transportation is not provided. I’m sure you can figure it out.
