CONTEST! Win Weekend Passes for Field Trip Festival in Toronto!

UPDATE: We’ve drawn our 3 winners. See tweet below

Now this is a contest that I would want to win. Last year, Toronto indie label Arts & Crafts launched the very successful Field Trip concert at Fort York & Garrison Common in Toronto to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Since bigger is often better, that’s what Field Trip is delivering this year – TWO DAYS of music goodness at the same historical venue on June 7 and 8.

As shown in the above poster, there are TONS of great bands. We have PHM interviewees CHVRCHES, Austra (who often fair well in our year end charts), Half Moon Run, The Darcys, Constantines, and of course, headliners Interpol and Broken Social Scene.

Not only are there great bands, but there are cool initiatives like a bike valet, an Etsy marketplace, and lots of great food! Excited yet?!

And guess what? We have a pair of weekend passes for Field Trip (valued at $125 each) to give away to three lucky people!

No one likes rules (except for those lawyer-type people), but there are a few for this contest. There’s no purchase necessary and we won’t share your information with anyone. You must enter via Twitter (explained below), and there’s only one entry per person – anyone found with multiple Twitter entries is a loser (in both life and the contest). Please – do not retweet the heck out of this thing, either – like bedside beers, one is enough. Just follow us on Twitter, do the tweet we ask you to do, and one pair of tickets could be yours. You’re welcome.

Step 1 – Follow @PeteHatesMusic on Twitter. If you already follow us, you’re awesome (or I’m blackmailing you in some way)
Step 2 – Tweet the phrase below:

I want to win weekend passes to Field Trip. Follow War of 1812 survivor @PeteHatesMusic and tweet to enter

The contest ends on Monday, June 2 at 5:30pm EST / 2:30pm PST (although I don’t expect any Pacific coast entries).

We are giving away one pair of weekend passes to each of our three lucky Field Trip contest winners. Following us on Twitter does not enter you into the contest – you must tweet the above phrase in addition to following us. You must also not have a locked/private Twitter account because then we can’t see you retweet us!

Simple, right? Okay, not really. Anyway, if you win, @PeteHatesMusic will send you a direct message on Twitter to gather your personal information, and go from there. It’s up to you to figure out how to get there, as transportation is not provided. But hey, they have a bike valet, so you can easily cycle there
