The frontman with many bands is returning with another new solo video. That man is Damon Albarn and that video is Heavy Seas of Love.

We all saw the original Kanye West / Kim Kardashian disaster of a video for Bound 2, and the amazing Seth Rogen / James Franco parody, right? According to James Franco, Kanye West asked him and Seth Rogen to parody it the night before his wedding. The best quote? “It would have been awesome for about 20 seconds, but then there would be Seth with his shirt off in front all the Kardashians.” Nailed it. (via Pitchfork)

This could be good – the new collaborative project between El-P and Killer Mike, aka Run the Jewels – are following up last year’s smash hit album. Even better news is that they will be roping in Rage Against the Machine’s Zach de la Rocha and also Blink-182’s Travis Barker. (via Exclaim)

Remember when Nicki Minaj absolutely destroyed her guest verse on Kanye West’s single Monster? Then she went all pop and I sort of lost track of her. Anyway, she has stated that she’s going to go back to her hip hop roots. Okay, no more Justin Bieber collabs then, eh? (via Gigwise)
