Morning Music Notes – Guns Never Lead to Good Things
Mikal Cronin, who impressed us at NXNE last summer (on a boat, no less), has a new split single with WAND.
In new song Soul in Motion, we have a bubbly acoustic track mixed with distorted guitars, and a sunny chorus that Cronin does so often. Give it a play down below.

Lollapalooza announced its line up yesterday, with headliners Eminem, OutKast, and Kings of Leon. They also sold out of all weekend passes in a record time of 2 hours. Each day will see about 100,000 people head to Grant Park, so that’s a lot of tickets sold (says Captain Obvious). (via Consequence of Sound)
Kurt Cobain, like you’ve never seen him before – as a comic book character?? The Nirvana singer’s story will be in by Jayfri Hashim, in a Tribute comic book series. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t end well. (via Gigwise)
Chief Keef, the Kanye West collaborator, might be in trouble with the police again. Pitchfork got him in trouble when photographing him with guns, which violated his parole. Now, the Chicago rapper was said to have been at the scene of a shooting in North Chicago, but was not the shooter. Small silver lining? (via Billboard)
