Morning Music Notes – Tyler, the Riot Creator
Toronto’s Holy Fuck are back. Their first new song in four years comes in the form of a B-side to a 7-inch record that’s being released as part of an Australian tour. But you don’t need the back story.
The track is called Sabbatics, and is a three and a half minute dancey, instrumental jam. The single is out April 24, and as for other music, well, stay tuned I suppose.

Tributes across the music world are pouring in as Scott Asheton, drummer for The Stooges, has died. Iggy Pop revealed the news on Facebook about the death of the 64 year old. At least Scott won’t have to see Iggy Pop’s weird topless body anymore. (via Consequence of Sound)
The news is now officially true – I’m pregnant! Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden will be touring together, with Death Grips no less. The lone Canadian date is July 27 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. (via Exclaim)
Critically-acclaimed, Mercury Prize-winning band Elbow have landed their first number one album in the UK. The band’s 6th studio album, The Take Off And Landing Of Everything, beat out last week’s number one, Pharrell Williams’ Girl.
Tyler, the Creator has been arrested for causing a riot at SXSW. There’s video (snippets below) that show him encouraging the crowd to push passed security to join the rest of the capacity crowd. (via Billboard)
