Cast your memory back to our year-end list for 2013 (or check it out now for the first time). On this list is both The Field and Tim Hecker (who landed the #2 spot). In 2011, both acts also made our year end list (this time, with The Field at #2). If it is not abundantly clear, we love both the Field and Tim Hecker (yes, in that way). You can imagine our excitement when I found out that Montreal’s Tim Hecker remixed Sweden’s The Field (aka Axel Willner).

The No.No… remix definitely has a Tim Hecker feel to it, layered onto the stand out track from Cupid’s Head. Icy synths, moving layers of sound, mixed with the Field’s loops. The track is from Cupid’s Head Remixe II, which is out now. Make your ears happy below.
