Watch! Mark Berube – Carnival
We have a new track from Mark Berube. It’s a little unorthodox in its rhythms and vocal deliveries, and is similar to something the Beta Band might throw down if they were still around. The track is called Carnival, which seems to describe Toronto’s City Hall these days (see – who says it’s difficult to talk politics?!).
The track delves into experimental and psychedelic areas, with swirling music and an endless delivery of vocals. Throughout the chaos is beauty (which does not describe Toronto’s City Hall). Carnival is off of Russian Dolls, which is Berube’s fifth album. Berube hits up the Dakota Tavern in Toronto on December 3. Until then, check out the video for Carnival.
