Arctic Monkeys, Twin Shadow Cover Lou Reed

Lou Reed’s passing has seemed like an endless tribute to the Velvet Underground founder. Emily Haines wrote a touching article in Rolling Stone about her experiences with the man. Some other people opted to let their music do the talking.

Some of these “other people” I was referring to are Arctic Monkeys and Twin Shadow. At their show in Liverpool, Arctic Monkeys covered Walk on the Wild Side. Twin Shadow made a quick little video of his version of Perfect Day. You can see both of their efforts below.
