Listen! Monogatari – Rebuilding
Sweden might be renowned for it’s high rate of successful pop acts, but today we bring you some eclectic instrumental music. Sebastian Ungh performs under the name Monogatari (because why not?). He has released two albums, the not at all wordy It May Have Seemed Like a Sign of Hope That the Birds Followed Them Out Into the Vastness of the Open Sea, and then One Step Forward and Two Steps Back?. November 30th will see the release of Almost Like a Dance… (which is what people say moments after I drunkenly stumble onto the dance floor).
The instrumental track Rebuilding features a variety of sounds, morphing from acoustic guitar to a slow chugging xylophone beat as the track builds. I listened to several of Monogatari’s tracks and although this isn’t his strongest one, you can check out even more videos on his YouTube page. In the meantime, check out Rebuilding below.
