Watch! Muse – Panic Station
When we saw Muse a few weeks ago in Toronto, the band played Panic Station off of their new album. While I want to like this song, I have a hard time getting past the homage the band are playing to an un-Muse-like musical genre. I appreciate they like to push boundaries, but sometimes you have to play to your strengths, and this might not be one of them.
If we’re to ascertain anything from the video, it’s that Panic Station is by the Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, Japan. And the band can shoot laser beams of love from their eyes. I thought only I could do that! The video screens at the show did show a dancing purple monster, who makes an appearance in the video for the funky track. Check out Muse’s latest video, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
