Rumours Pick Up For Adele Singing the James Bond Theme Song

The new James Bond film, Skyfall, is almost upon us, and the trailers make it look all kinds of awesome. Rumours previously emerged that London singer, Adele, would be singing the theme song – let’s keep it British, right? After some “investigative journalism”, it’s been revealed that Adele likely let the news accidentally slip quite awhile ago (via Hollywood Reporter). Back in April 2011, Adele was on the Jonathan Ross Show, and said that she was going “in the studio in November” to record “a theme”. Then she released she fucked up, and said, “Wow. That’s really giving something away.” Ross then hummed the Bond theme, and Adele tried to laugh it all away, and saying she’s doing a “concept” instead of “theme”, but she’s not fooling anyone! Past bond theme singers include Paul McCartney, Madonna, and Jack White & Alicia Keys.

Amazing “Woman Beater” Warning Stickers Found on Chris Brown Albums

Remember a few years ago, when Paris Hilton released her first album? I’ll forgive you if it didn’t make it into your household. However, the greatest thing to come out of her album release was Banksy replacing her albums with pictures of a dog’s head on her body on the cover, and the CD replaced with music by Danger Mouse. Now, this isn’t quite as awesome, but it still kicks ass in my book – someone has placed stickers on the new Chris Brown album. What do they say? “Warning – Do not buy this album! This man beats women,” (via Gigwise). The albums were found in HMV, and they tell the truth – so don’t buy that shit!

Girl Talk’s Cat Meows to Collective Soul

What are you talking about – it’s not a slow news day! Yesterday, I saw a video that claimed to be Girl Talk’s cat meowing along to Collective Soul’s Shine. It was sort of cool and funny, but it could’ve been anyone’s cat, and God knows we don’t have enough cat videos on YouTube. Amazingly, Girl Talk’s publicist confirmed that it is actually Gregg Gillis’ cat (via Pitchfork). This just proves that being Girl Talk’s publicist and answering questions about a cat on YouTube is infinitely easier than being Chris Brown’s publicist and answering questions about beating up Rihanna and then getting a tattoo of a beaten woman on your neck. Anyway, let’s get to the cat. It meows the part after the catchy riff in Shine. Is Gregg squeezing it, or might we have a talented cat to rival Jingle Cats?

Listen! Kanye West, Pusha T, Ghostface Killah – New God Flow

Another release from G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer album has made it online. This is an updated version of New God Flow, and adds Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah. The beat has a running piano line, and a simple bass beat underneath all the raps. Check out it before the album drops next week (and before it gets removed).
