The Vaccines Cover Taylor Swift; Also Get the Reggae Remix Treatment

A double dose of news about The Vaccines for you today. The first involves a cover of country starlet / ex-girlfriend of both Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer, Taylor Swift. BBC’s excellent Radio 1 Live Lounge features a band playing a popular cover, and today we had the Vaccines do a version of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (suck on that, Jake/John). It’s a little weird, if not a tad comical. Check it out below.

The Cribs’ guitar tech, Chris Shipton, has a band called The Ship-Tones (*groan). They did a reggae remix of If You Wanna by The Vaccines. Justin Young’s original vocals are still intact, but the music itself has that reggae sound most of us love. Give it a watch below.
