The iWatch Concept Could Be the Future of Video Chatting
Some of the best products are the ones that are conceptual, never to be made. My gummi bear hamburgers make me drool, but hot, melted gummi bears aren’t as appealing as the concept in my head. One idea that came across my (imaginary) desk is the iWatch by Swedish company Dogday Designs (via iPhone in Canada). The watch is more or less what you think it is – a watch running Apple’s iOS, with the ability to tell the time (hooray!) and to use Facetime video chatting with other people.
Of course, holding your wrist up and having an hour long conversation is probably not the most desirable thing to do, but the portability and functionality of chatting on your watch is pretty cool. With Apple’s chips and products being engineered to be small where possible (I’m thinking like the Nano, not the iPad), the iWatch is a feasible concept. Check out Dogday Designs for more details about their concept, or better yet – build your own!
