Listen! Karen Elson – Gold Dust Woman (Fleetwood Mac cover)

The Fleetwood Mac tribute album is either getting you excited by slowing bleeding you a new track to preview every few days, or is infuriating you by not streaming the whole damn thing in one shot. Either way, it means more posts for me to write, so I think I know what camp I fall into. Model and ex-wife of Jack White, Ms. Karen Elson, has contributed vocals to a track produced by Beck. The track is Gold Dust Woman, and yes, it’s a cover of the Fleetwood Mac song, off of the upcoming Just Tell Me That You Want Me (note: it might also be the name of my diary entry about Karen Elson).

The album is out on August 14, meaning we have more weeks of tracks to slowly preview. We’ve already heard MGMT, Lykke Li, and Best Coast give it a shot. Now check out how the tandem of Karen Elson on vocals and Beck on the production knobs do.
