Shooting at Young Jeezy Concert in Toronto, Stabbing at Jessie J Show in London
The past couple of nights have not been good nights for concert goers on either side of the Atlantic. In Toronto, there was a shooting at the Young Jeezy concert (via Toronto Sun). The show was at the Sound Academy on Toronto’s waterfront, and shots were fired around 12:30 a.m., obviously sending people running for fear of their lives. There was a male victim (not Young Jeezy), and he was sent to hospital in serious condition.
Perhaps thinking his show is more important than the shooting of a human being, Young Jeezy posted:
Backstage @ Sound Academy in Toronto!Police closed venue and cancelled the greatest show!!! I will be back! Next stop London, Ontario!

On the east side of the Atlantic (I think it’s easy, me no good at geography), a 37 year old man was slashed twice in the neck, at the London club Pulse (via Gigwise). One of the stars of The Voice UK, Jessie J, had performed at the venue earlier on Tuesday, and has cancelled her subsequent performance tonight. A slightly classier tweet from Jessie J.
My thoughts are with the person who was seriously injured last night at the blackberry bbm party. So sad. I really hope they are ok.
