Weekend Music – Miike Snow vs Alex Metric

Miike Snow are back. Who are Miike Snow? They are a collective of producers from Sweden & a singer from New York, who have several thumbs in several pies. Under different names and different times, they have dome everything from open for the Fugees, to produce Britney Spears’ hit single Toxic… yep – that was 2/3rds Miike Snow (working as Bloodshy and Avant at the time).

Let’s see – they also worked on Ms. Dynamite’s debut album (which won a Mercury), Kylie Minogue, Kelis, and somebody named Madonna; a pretty impressive pop resume.

The only other stuff I know about Miike Snow is that they’re first album was awesome, they have a new album out, and they have an unbelievable drummer.

Alex Metric is on the remix here, who never fails to give a huge buildup and drop. Nice work. Crack a beer, turn this up, and I defy you to not feel good.
