Dave Grohl issued a letter to Foo Fighters fans this week via the band’s website, saying thanks for an incredible year for the band. A classy act from a classy guy in a classy band. Nice to remember that their are celebrities in this world that get it.

Gambling Website Buys Michael Jackson’s Hair For Roulette:
A headline I never thought I’d type. A gambling website has bought a bunch of Michael Jackson’s hair in order to generate mentions of their website on blogs like this. They also claim to be turning it into a roulette ball,  although how an online gambling site makes use of a roulette ball is beyond my expertise in software development.  They spent over $10,000, and there is a horrifying picture of the hair after the jump.

American Airlines approves iPads for Pilots:
American Airlines has responded to the recent rash of spilling my god damned coffee all over the god damned charts, by introducing an iPad system of charting their navigation. The system has apparently been working flawlessly for a 6-month test period, and is built off a called JeppTC, which appears to have some pretty serious looking flight trackers.
When asked for comment, the general public said, “yeah – do whatever the hell it is you do. As long as you end up where it says on the ticket, really…”
