A 10,000 Watt, Room-Filling Boom Box That Can’t Be Delivered By Santa Claus

As music fans, we all want the best sound quality, the best output, the biggest this and that (note: this doesn’t apply to collection of Michael Bolton records). When it comes to iPhone speakers, PeteHatesMusic have profiled all sorts of cool/ridiculous/impractical designs. Well, this one falls under all three. It is a 10,000 Watt speaker that is 8 feet wide by 4 feet, weighs over 700 pounds, which sounds a lot like Axl Rose these days. It will cost you a mere $29,999. From the product site:

“BEHRINGER, award-winning innovator of affordable professional audio and music equipment, is excited to announce the launch of the Eurosound consumer electronics brand — concert quality sound at an amazing value. To celebrate the launch, BEHRINGER will unveil the iNuke Boom, the loudest iPod® and iPhone® dock you’ve ever heard at CES 2012. The $29,999.99 monster speaker system measures a whopping 8 feet wide by 4 feet tall, weighs over 700 pounds and pumps out over 10,000 Watts of power.”

The picture is comical in itself. Wow, that’s a SMALL iPhone. Er, not quite.
