New Music Tuesdays – Fire Up Those Torrent Sites
Beyoncé – 4: Is there anything Beyoncé can’t do? Number 1 albums, worldwide tours, including being the first woman to headline the legendary Glastonbury, and meal-cooker to Jay-Z.
Limp Bizkit – Gold Cobra: On the same day we learn that other 90s stalwarts No Doubt and Bush are coming back with albums, Limp Bizkit releases a new one. Unfortunately, their musical style doesn’t lead to music that stands the test of time, although I should be fair and listen to this album at least once, right? And is it just me, or did Fred Durst aged oddly?
Big Sugar – Revolution Per Minute: Big Sugar are also back. After blowing my mind at Woodstock 99, with their rousing rendition of O Canada, these guys have etched a permanent spot in my memory banks. Unfortunately so have late night TV shows on Cinemax/Showtime (you know the ones I mean), so I don’t know if that is something to be proud of.
The rest of the releases, including ones from Billy Ray Cyrus and Selena Gomez (two separate albums, not the world’s worst duet), can be viewed here.
