Listen! Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – In The Heat Of The Moment

It’s Thanksgiving today in Canada. Besides eating disgusting amounts of turkey, I’m gobbling up all of the random, great music that has dropped today. One particular surprise I am exciting about is a new album from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The new album is called Chasing Yesterday and is out in March 2, 2015 – almost 5 months away!

The lead single is called In The Heat Of The Moment, and like the Oasis songwriter’s first solo album, it treads no real new ground, but the man can still write a mean hook, d’you what I mean? The press release for the album notes the album will feature “a much broader array of instrumentation than ever before”, leading to “rich, expansive and multi-layered record, drawing from a range of disparate influences — from west coast rock to classic rock ‘n’ roll and even some space jazz (!).” Check out In the Heat of the Moment below.
