Apple by the Numbers

From HypeBot, there are some interesting stats about Apple and iTunes. They are set to rule the world! These estimated numbers include:

15 Billion iTunes song downloads
130 million book downloads
14 billion app downloads
$2.5 billion paid to developers
225 million accounts
425,000 apps
90,000 iPad apps
100,000 game and entertainment titles
50 million game center accounts

One of the 425,000 apps is simply a button that you press and it says WOOOOOOOOOOO! What would we do without Apple and iTunes and their developers? Lock ourselves in our rooms and wait for the impending alien invasion (that was hypothetical – keep your thoughts in your head, Pete!)
