Listen! Darlingside – Sweet and Low

Darlingside are a New England 5-piece. Each of the band members are songwriters, and the band features a mix of mandolin, cello and violin, guitars and drums. The band released an EP in 2010, and are building towards a summer album release of Pilot Machines, which is out in July. Darlingside just released a new 7″ called The Edge of the Earth, which includes the gentle, slow song Sweet and Low. The song is actually about being on a date in a coffee shop, where there were way too many artificial sweeteners. And no, I would have never ever guessed that, even if being interrogated by Jack Bauer.

I can't believe these instruments were in this field, either!
