Listen! MONO – Where We Begin

Japanese post-rock band, MONO, have returned with a double whammy of new albums for us fans. It looks like they’ve copied the Guns ‘N Roses template for releasing two albums, as they’ll drop both The Last Dawn and Rays Of Darkness on October 28.

Stylistically, lead single Where We Begin sounds a lot like the MONO of old – slow building, intricate layers of rock melodies, resulting in an emotionally satisfying ending to the track. This track is from The Last Dawn, the “brighter” of the two albums apparently. Dive in below.
