Morning Music Notes: Summer festival season kicks off (for us)
Festival 1 on the docket for PeteHatesMusic.com this summer is Ottawa’s RBC Bluesfest. Hardly a festival for just blues, the strength of this festival is the wide array of different acts music nerds like us get to experience.
Check back here for notes on each night’s performances. We’ll try to be a bit critical, but we tend to love everything when under the influence of the outdoor-music-beer-buzz – ye be warned!
Tonight: Jimmy Eat World, DVBBS, The Cat Empire, Grand Funk Railroad, Adventure Club, and some band called ‘The Black Keys’. Should be fun.
